Chart Study - Hannah Barron
“I just think you should embrace your own individuality, should be yourself, and don’t worry about what anybody else says… don’t be scared to build your own box, and don’t try to fit in anybody else’s, be your own person, and you’ll be happier in the long run because of that, and don’t worry what anybody else has to say… Hope y’all have a good one! Appreciate y’all.”
★ I’m Trending on Twitter - Hannah Barron
These were the tail end words of a video post that social media influencer Hannah Barron shared after she became the target of trending online spite.
In focus someone had tweeted about her, stating that her country accent ‘ought to be illegal’ and that women should not perform manual labour such as hunting or construction… as these are very much the things that Hannah shares about from her own life experiences, on her YouTube channel and social media platforms, which is of course narrated by her strong and adorable country accent.
Hannah is primarily known as ‘The Catfish Girl’ because much of her content features catfish ‘Noodling’ which is a practice of using your limb with no bait, to fish and hook onto catfish through it’s mouth and gills. For Hannah and her family this is a way of life, and they eat what they keep.
I never thought I could find myself enjoying banjo soundtracks accompanied by hunting content about skinning a catfish, or that there even was such a thing called ‘catfish skinners’ and that such an instrument could sound so adorable in the right context of exposure… but there is something so pure about Hannah’s shares, that caused me to want to explore her birth data.
“People think these big catfish don’t taste good, but they do, just gots to clean them right… Cut a hole in their bottom jaw, and hang them up on these hooks right here. First thing we do is cut the tail off so they can bleed, cus that blood and all that red’s what gives them catfish that fishy taste, or mud as some folks call it… Daddy always does this part. I ain’t real good at it, I always do the fileting. He cuts the skin into sections though, it makes it easier to pull it off with catfish skinners.”
★ How to Clean a Catfish - Hannah Barron
In my following of Hannah, she shares an authentic window into her life where she works with and learns from her father about hunting and other life skills such as building a home, and she takes an honest attempt to apply herself to these skills and lifestyles. Because of this lens, in much of the content we see beloved father and daughter moments. The comments sections are filled with people alike - sharing about how this reminds them of their rural childhood, or appreciation for a connection they had in their family dynamic, or keynoting of family values such as the harmony of respecting and living with nature.
I even saw Grandma Barron out on a kayak Noodling with the pack, in one episode, or as Hannah called her ‘The one who had to put up with him’ - while she coyly nodded her energy towards her father through a loving smile.
“Good morning y’all, we got Nanny out here finally, she’s floating around on the kayak in the queen seat, for those of y’all that don’t know, this is Daddy’s Mama, the one that had to put up with him... and we’re out here trying to catch a couple of fish for my early birthday.”
★ Hannah Barron - Birthday Shenanigans
In this day and age, it is easy to forget that on the other side of the screen there are human beings, and the internet can be such a nasty place.
It is sad that making such a negative post about Hannah could get so much attention - but this is social media! Despite all this I loved her rebuttal and share, which I quoted at the top of this post about being unique and true to yourself. It was badass wisdom for all walks of life.
Critics aside, I feel immediately captivated by her endearing vibes while she narrates her videos about her life living on the ranch, and the friends and adventures they have. Accent and all I find Hannah to be adorable and I have found her content easy to consume and enjoy, and that it is compelling in terms of authenticity.
The comments made about her online are also an exemplary reminder of a misogynistic attitude that still thrives in society today towards women, or the pettiness of social stereotypes such as one’s accent. While these seem outdated views, they remain as a reminder of some of the baseline stereotypes that exist in media & cultures as these stereotypes have been so deeply conditioned in us.
In many ways it is why I love Human Design as it is far deeper than any of these social constructs. In healthy awareness, Human Design really teaches humility towards others through a vocabulary of awareness that is not meant to be believed but witnessed in experiential discernment.
Of course Human Design could also be utilised toxically to generalise, stereotype, I would not deny that, but for those who know, and are simply aware cosmic passengers, Human Design embraces individuality and also helps unpack beyond stereotypes the homogenised traits that have formed through social assimilation of cultures, and the madness of mind that has plagued mankind.
“This is the thing to understand about type. Type is deeper than race, is deeper than any kind of cultural difference…”
★ The Projector Signature - From Bitterness To Success
Watching Hannah’s content, I was certainly feeling that Hannah was a Manifesting-Generator-Aura, prior to observing her birth data. There’s a certain power that Manifesting-Generator-Auras seem to bring to content creation which is to be graceful in their speech and narration, but also the manner in which they unload, and can hit these rapid responses that are easy to catch a glance of - when you know the signposts to keep an eye on.
Maren Altman is my favourite example of this Manifesting-Generator-Aura influencer, as she is like a spitfire of knowledge when it comes to responding to the stars. There’s a certain satisfying frequency emitted by all Sacral-Center beings that I am finding a new level of appreciation for in my experiment of Human Design, which I see clearly in Hannah.
So let’s take to the stars and look at Hannah’s birth data which is said to be July 3rd, 1996, Alabama, United States.
The snack crumbs to verify this investigation of birth data would lead us to her Instagram username that also has a ‘96’ after it, and she posted on the 2nd of July 2024 ‘Good mornin yall! Tomorrow’s my birthday’.
It’s cool to see she has Gate-17 pretty consistently all day in her Design-Unconscious and Personality-Consciousness as this plays into my Earth-Gate-62.
I personally would be tempted to guess her to be closer to the 8pm entry making her a 4/6 Sacral-Manifesting-Generator. I do not pick up on the emotional energy of the Solar-Plexus-Center, and at this time the Gate-20 activation lights up her Throat-Center with two Manifesting-Channels with a charismatic power.
Gate-39.4 also completes my Dormant-Gate-55.6, and also makes sense why she evokes not just myself but many with her content as this is also her Sun-Gate.
“It takes time to learn who can be successfully provoked or not, and you can only impact the Collective or the Tribe, and release true mutation, when in the right spirit or mood yourself. This is what makes mutation contagious, and moves the potential for awareness through the totality. The 39th gate is one of the three gates of deafness, meaning you are not designed to be easily influenced.”
★ Gate 39 - The Definitive Book of Human Design
Taking a look at her Astrology and pulling this time back to 8pm - I feel we may have some answers into aspects that I see of myself within her, and that is having Mars and Venus in her Fifth-House.
Her fortune would be here too, with the cackling duet of a Gemini House ruler, making a lot of ‘chatty’ sense.
We also see Libra North-Node & Chiron in the Ninth-House of education suggesting a lot of influence of the Libra archetype - this being close to her midheaven potentially indicating strong influence.
Saturn in Aries can make for quite the ferocious spiritual warrior and being in the Third-House this strikes me as pairing to the velocity of her shares, and the brave pioneering sentiments behind her words. In her BodyGraph she has six Aries-Placements and four of these are in her Design-Unconscious so maybe more so seen by ‘us’ than consciously felt by Hannah.
This places Mercury in her Sixth-House which is often associated with career or health and with her Cancer-Sun being here also she is very much sharing from her own intellect. Jupiter on the Ascendant line too… an abundance of a large identity? Her Ascendant is higher in the horizon than her own conscious Sun would be able to perceive?
I will keep this one short. I know I can go on, and I am slowly seeing how complex my writing can get - which ultimately means it doesn’t get published - and lays as a dormant draft, for sometimes, years. I am learning that this is ok, and as a Projector-Aura I move at a much slower pace than 80% of the world while also at the same time emerging myself in things that interest me has lead me to many Third-Line bumps in which I have learned lots about writing skills and assertive communication.
Writing is something I don’t put much thought into and it seems to really help me understand things, or that it is a modality I enjoy exploring the things I am interested in.
Aside from Hannah’s words and her attitude of her own being, Hannah seems humble and satisfied and this is really a frequency I’d like to see more of in the world. I love watching Generator-Auras when they are in line with fertilising their interests in response to what is attracted to their Sacral-Center’s frequency.
In conclusion of this post, what I like about Hannah the most is she seems genuine and she makes for a great example of breaking social norms or having more compassion for people past their cover. The video of her addressing the hater was wise words, much to which I edited out of the quote, and so to end this post I will reverse export her words that didn’t make the initial cut.
“… I would tell y’all this girl’s name but I can’t remember it because I don’t have a clue who she is, so that should tell you how relevant this person is… but I just think it’s hilarious because I grew up as the weird kid in high school who hunted and fished to much because back then it wasn’t cool for women to hunt or fish... or the whole country lifestyle… and I’m so proud of all the women in the outdoors now who are making that more ‘cool’ or popular, so proud of us, and I think we’re doing great…”
