Daddy Bear - Humanity’s Teddy Bear

Verse One of Three

Daddy bear, daddy bear,

It’s not fair!

Why do people stop?

Why do they stare?

Flocking you everywhere!

It’s not your fault they are not aware!

Whether riding a bus or having a coffee,

they show you a fuss,

they get rather snobby!

 It’s wrong to make you pay your fare,

For after all,

you are just a bear,

Warm,

fuzzy,

often round,

fur so fair.

Verse Two of Three

Oh daddy bear, daddy bear,

so contraire, 

They can’t blame the bear for being a bear!

But everywhere you go they give you the glare,

even when you offer to eat their spare!

So kindly on their lawn you open and tear, 

but thanking you?

They do not dare!

For you are a bear,

it’s you they will ensnare.

Tag your cute ears,

they don’t care, 

mess up your look,

oh what a mare!

Do they not know how long it takes you to do your hair?

Verse Three of Three

Oh daddy bear, daddy bear,

sweeter than an éclair,

for my heart on the scale they could not tare!

But there is something I must declare,

something obvious that I must share!

With a bare behind,

you are without underwear!

It’s really no wonder they stop, and they stare!
